So what is it?
Well it’s a beef protein isolate. The biggest selling factor is that it is lactose-free completely.
The Breakdown
One scoop of the chocolate mint: so you got 120 calories, you got 0 g of fat, 6 g of carbs, 1 of which is fiber and at 23 g of high quality concentrated beef protein isolate.
Inside here you also got jam-packed with amino acids of course, you even got some creatine in it.
Creatine is naturally found in beef to begin with. When you cook the beef a lot of it is lost which is why we supplement with creatine.
So in each scoop you’re getting 2.5 g of creatine but when you have the same amount of protein in stake, you’re only getting about .12.
0 Cholesterol which is phenomenal for a beef protein isolate and the fat-free part as well.
So based on all this again the main selling point to me would be the lactose-free part. Someone who is lactose intolerant and who cannot have your whey or just want to switch it up or introduce a different type of protein into the regiment; this is definitely something they should pick up. So for your beef protein category 8.5 out of 10 for Carnivor.
Mixability
They even say on the label that it might be foamy at first. It’s not going to mix as well or as seamless as your whey protein isolates. That’s okay because different approaches involve different types of of benefits that are unique to them. So I put one scoop in for about 10 ounces of water, 8 out of 10 never too low because they do state that it’s going to foam up.
Taste
This is the chocolate Mint flavor. I’ll give this one a shot. Tastes actually really good, different than the chocolate one which I had before. I don’t really care for the chocolate one but chocolate mint, 9 out of 10.
