Top Best Pre workout for Stimulant Junkies
Top Best Pre workout for Stimulant Junkies
When it comes to stimulants, we normally say ‘less is more’. That, of course, is until you need more to feel what you felt with less. So for all our stimulant junkies, we have a comparison of some of the strongest pre workouts 2018 has to offer (so far).
To help find the best pre workout for you, were going to go over the amount of stimulants per serving in each pre workout, the caffeine content, and the intense ingredients you can find in each pre workout.
Before we go into the reviews we would like to mention that having a high tolerance to stimulants is okay but it is very important to cycle your stims. Or you can check out Adrenal Care By Blackstone Labs. Adrenal care is great for adrenal support of mild to moderate cases of adrenal fatigue.

1. ESP Extreme by Metabolic Nutrition
ESP Extreme, like most pre workouts, contains a proprietary blend. This means that instead of disclaiming the amount of mg per each ingredient, they disclose the total mgs of the blend.
Unfortunately this blend contains non-stimulant ingredients as well; but because it is a prop blend we are not able to determine how much mg of stimulants are in this pre workout. Metabolic Nutrition does however disclose the amount of caffeine per large scoop; 500 mg. As a whole ESP Extreme contains a total of 5366.8 mg active ingredients.
Within it’s prop blend, ESP Extreme contains: Beta Alanine, 1,3, 7-Trimethylpurine-2 6-Dione (caffeine), 2-Aminoisoheptane, 3, 7-Dimethyl-1H-Purine-2,6-Dione (Theobromine), N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine, and Choline Bitartrate.
Although not all these ingredients are stimulants, they work synergistically with the stims to enhance their effects. This includes: Choline Bitartrate and N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine. Beta Alanine is an amino acid that helps increase your muscle’s carnosine stores, which can reduce fatigue during intense exercise

2. Mesomorph by APS Nutrition
Mesomorph, as most of you are probably familiar with, is not a beginner pre workout. As has been stated time and time again, Mesomorph is the king of pre workouts.
But what makes it so royal has less to do with its individual ingredients, and more to do with the combination of them all for the formula. Mesomorph packs a whopping 1860 mg of stimulants per serving. Then you add in the other blends and you got around 12860 mg of active ingredients. In the stimulant blend, there are intense stims like Senegalia Berlandieri Extract and Isopropylnorsynephrine HCl.
Also in this blend you have Glucuronolactone, Methylxanthine Anhydrous, Phenylethylamine Alkaloids, Theobromine, and Naringin. Because Mesomorph is a proprietary blend, we can’t be sure how much of each ingredient is in the blend. However what we are sure of is that each serving, 1 scoop, will have you killing your workout.

3. PWO MAX By Prime Nutrition
PWO MAX, like Mesomorph, is a proprietary blend. In the Ultra-Premium proprietary blend, there are more ingredients than just stimulants, like in ESP Extreme. This blend also has ingredients that work synergistically with stimulants; like Choline Bitartrate, DMAE, and N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine. PWO MAX also contains 2-Aminoisoheptane and two sources of caffeine. This blend as a whole is going to promote the high energy that you crave and the sharp focus you need for your workouts.

4. Dust X Pre Workout By Blackstone Labs
Dust X has been famed for being a high stim pre workout since it came out (originally Dust Extreme). Surprisingly, it doesn’t have as much stimulants as the other products listed above. But where it lacks in quantity, it exceeds in quality (strength). Not every stimulant is created equal. The energy you get from drinking coffee versus taking an OG DMAA pre workout is completely different. So in the case of Dust X, less is more.
Dust X does have a transparent label so you can see how much of each ingredient you getting. When you’re looking at the label you can see Dust X has 150 mg of 2-Aminoisoheptane and 350 mg of caffeine.
That’s a lot on its own. Now add in the Huperzine A, Higenamine, and L-Tyrosine for the laser-like focus and even more energy. In addition to all the stims, Dust X has good range of pump ingredients. But we would say if you wanted to take that pump to the next level you should try stacking it with something like Hype Extreme.

5. Old Jack Extreme By Genone Labs
Old Jack Extreme, By Genone Labs, is an attempt at reincarnating an old favorite (at least name wise). The intense stimulants in this pre workout are all in the prop blend. When you exclude the 300 mg for caffeine, you’re left with 506 mg for all the other stimulants.
This includes:
- Senegalia Berlandieri Extract,
- Theophylline, I
- sopropylnorsynephrine HCl,
- Cognizin Citicoline,
- N- Acetyl-L-Tyrosine,
- Mucuna Pruriens,
- Alpha Yohimbine,
- And Huperzine A.
You’re probably thinking that there isn’t enough play room to divvy up the remaining mgs.
Normally we’d agree; but, like we stated with Dust X, sometimes less really is more. Looking at this formula we see 3 intense stimulants. The combination of those alone would be enough to get through an high intensity workout. Adding all the other stimulants and focus aids are going to promote that tunnel vision you want at the gym and take your workouts to the next level.
